YOUTH GROUP PROGRAMS
Purpose
- To foster understanding, appreciation,
and conservation of Nebraska's natural resources by studying and
interacting with nature.
How programs are planned
- You work with staff to design a
program specifically for your organization around the Platte River
ecosystem and wildlife. A variety of activities and projects strive to
connect the outdoor experience with your specific topic, badge or
project.
Instruction
- Programs are facilitated by a
combination of INAC staff, trained volunteers and your teaching team.
Handicapped accessibility
- Indoor and outdoor classrooms are
handicapped accessible.
Dates and Times
- Programs can be scheduled throughout
the year. Times vary according to length of program.
Cost
- First 2 hours - $3.00 per person
- For each additional hour - $1.00 per
person
